You are the first person a prospective client meets. You visit the property, work out what the job actually involves, price it accurately, and present the proposal — then stay with the customer through to a signed job. The role spans both residential and commercial work and runs alongside the Project Manager.
What you will do
- Meet with prospective clients on-site or remotely
- Assess project requirements and gather project information
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Review plans, measurements, photos, and project specifications
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors
- Track pricing and material costs
- Present proposals and answer client questions
- Follow up with customers and help convert leads into completed projects
- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
What we are looking for
- Experience in sales, estimating, construction, or a related trade preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to understand project requirements and customer needs
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
- Valid driver's license preferred
Nice to have
- Experience estimating across multiple service trades
- Knowledge of residential and commercial property maintenance
- Familiarity with scheduling and project coordination
- Experience working with subcontractors and clients
- Bilingual capabilities
