Why choose KOM USA

Licensed and insured

Both, on every job. It is worth asking any contractor to show you — including us.

Metro Detroit only

Wayne, Oakland and Macomb. Local enough that turning up matters to us.

Honest pricing

Where a job can be priced up front, it is — set before we arrive, not after. Where it genuinely depends on what we find, we quote once we have seen the work, because a number given any earlier is a guess.

One team for both trades

Maintenance and construction under one roof, so the people who build it are the people you call afterwards.

Tell us about your Commercial Construction job

Send us the details and we will come out, look at the work, and quote it. No Commercial Construction job is priced from a phone call, because a number given before we have seen it is a guess.

Common commercial construction questions

What kind of commercial work do you do?

We handle commercial build-outs and refits for offices, retail units, and rental properties. That can include coordinating multiple trades and finishing the space around the requirements of the business and property. We review the project first and quote the agreed scope before work begins.

Can you work outside business hours?

We do not schedule commercial construction outside legally permitted working hours. The exact hours can also be limited by local rules, landlord requirements, and building policies.

Can you work while the business stays open?

Yes. Some commercial projects can be planned so the business stays open while work is underway. We review the work area, access, noise, dust, and customer safety before confirming the plan. We agree on any operating restrictions before work begins.

Do you handle commercial permits and inspections?

Yes. We identify the required commercial permits, handle the applications, and coordinate the required inspections.

Can you work to a landlord's requirements or fit-out rules?

Yes. We can plan a commercial build-out around landlord requirements, building rules, and access restrictions when we receive them before work begins. We include those requirements in the project scope, price, and construction plan.

What size of commercial project do you take on?

We evaluate each commercial project individually. Our completed work includes multi-family properties and commercial retail projects of up to about 20,000 square feet. Larger projects depend on the scope and whether our team is the right fit.

How are commercial projects usually priced?

We price commercial projects after reviewing the property, plans, and scope of work. The final price reflects the work agreed before construction begins.

What do you need before pricing a commercial project?

We need to review the property, plans, intended scope, landlord requirements, building rules, and access restrictions. Providing these details early helps us define the work and prepare an accurate price before construction begins.
